Infuse Your Mood With A Natural Tea

Wouldn’t it be nice to enhance your inner calm and focus, heighten your well-being, improve your focus and memory and maintain your physical endurance?  Well, have you heard of the herb Eleuthero, or Siberian Ginseng (as it was formerly called)?  To be honest, I hadn’t heard of this herb until a few weeks ago when I was emailed by the great people at Sun Chlorella USA and asked to try their product free of charge called Infuse Your Mood.  It’s a tea made with 100% natural Eleuthero.

A little background on the herb:
Eleuthero is a shrub that grows in Russia, China, Japan and Siberia.  Although it’s name is formerly Siberian Ginseng, it does not contain ginsenosides which are the compounds that make up ginseng but rather contains eleutherosides, hence the name Eleuthero.  It has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine to treat rheumatism, weak liver and kidneys, low energy levels, respiratory infections, menopausal symptoms, anxiety and sleep trouble.  Athletes in the former Soviet Union used this herb because they believed it enhanced their physical performance.  And after Chernobyl, residents supposedly used Eleuthero to beat possible radiation poisoning, though this has not been proven.

So, I’ve been drinking this “magic” herb first thing every morning for the past twenty days.  I have now finished the box and I’m sad that I don’t have an endless supply.  But from what I have read, it’s best to take Eleuthero for 6-8 weeks and then take about two weeks off.  It tastes and looks like regular green tea but doesn’t have any caffeine, which I think is great because it can be consumed at any time of day; no need to worry about the jitters before bed.  It’s good with a little lemon, ginger and/or honey added but I drank mine plain almost every morning and enjoyed the taste.  As far as any effects, I do think it gave me a little more clarity and added a little extra calm to my daily routine.  Others actually commented on how calm I seemed.  Not that I’m a hyper person, but if you’ve been reading my blog, the past few weeks have involved some big life changes and people were saying that I looked like I was handling it very well, calmly and happily.  I’d like to think that it was the tea, infusing my mood.

I would like to thank Sun Chlorella USA for giving me the opportunity to sample their product.  This is the first product review I have written and I would recommend Infuse Your Mood to anyone looking to balance their mind, body and spirit.  Drinking this tea, along with a little meditation and light yoga is a great way to start the day.
