Nantucket, MA

Our fifth anniversary was last weekend and we celebrated on the beautiful island of Nantucket, MA.  It was also the weekend of Nantucket’s Daffodil Festival which was so much fun!  There was an old car parade, a dog parade, a hat pageant and flower show.  It seemed like the entire island was decorated for this warm welcome to spring and it was so nice to see how everyone really got into the decorating and dressing up.  Everyone was wearing some form of green and yellow (we didn’t get the memo, but we’ll know for next time).  Bunches of random daffodils popped up all over the island too.  It was so nice to see as we biked and drove around the island.  The weather was perfect!  We rented bikes the first day then traded them in for a Jeep to go off-roading on the beach the next day.  Neither of us had ever been in a car on a beach and it was quite an experience!  So much fun!  Here are some highlights from our mini-vacation.  Can’t wait to go back!
